Music

Foreword

Knowing is a powerful thing. It’s not loud, flashy, or obvious. It comes up in stillness. A brief whisper, subtle flicker. It’s calm and grounded. Easy to miss.

We’re born with this knowing, holding it close to our chests. But the older we get, we disconnect. We forget.

I’ve always known that something deep in my heart was nudging me forward. Destination unknown, but the feeling was certain.

My relationship with music hasn’t been simple. Never linear.

I’ve been all over the map, followed breadcrumbs down many career paths, experienced false starts, roadblocks and dead ends. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that there is no plan A. That’s both the wonder and the pain of living life on this earth in this way.

Things never end up the way you once planned. So we might as well enjoy the beauty of the things that slow us down. Because it’s in those moments that we remember who we are.

For everyone who resonates with this work, who feels a little more connected, a little less scared and alone in this strange world, I know you. I see you. This is for you.
